Shouldn’t the answer to the multiple choice question in the video be (A)? In the video you have (B) circled but according to your example about the pizza and the spaghetti wouldn’t (A) be the correct answer?

Option (B) states “depending on the cost object a particular cost can be direct or indirect.” According to the example given in the video this would be TRUE since cheese on a pizza can be considered a direct cost and cheese on spaghetti can be considered an indirect cost.

So wouldn’t that make (A) the correct answer since it is NOT TRUE because whether a cost ” the cheese” is classified as a direct or indirect cost depends on the cost object ” the pizza / spaghetti.”

  you are correct. The correct answer is A. “Does not depend” is false statement and as a result is correct statement. Those “NOT true” questions. Thanks
